The Sky Harbor International Airport lies conveniently in the center of Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale. A large airport, it was the eighth busiest in the nation during 2005. Strangely, the airport’s three terminals are numbered two, three and four, since terminal one was removed in the nineties.

When you’re in the mood to watch the herons or king fisher birds, head to Canal Park. Found just off College Ave and south of Mckelllips Road, the lake and islands make for a desert oasis. Such a spot of beauty is shared between visitors who choose to fish on the side of the lake or explore the park’s trails.
